Campbell University Harriers Score A Pair Of Fourth Place Finishes

Hill, N.C.-- At the UNC Challenge,Campbell's University women's
cross-country team placed fourth in the six team 5,000-meter event,
while the men were fourth in the six-school field of the
8,000-meter race.
In the
men's event, the UNC alumni captured the overall title for the
third consecutive year. The current edition of the Tar Heels
finished second as they placed three runners in the top 10,
including Brian McGovern who took second place overall with a time
of 25:32.
UNC
alumni runner Andre Williams was the first to cross the finish line
with a time of 25:28.
Campbell sophomore Michael Earle placed 20th (27:12) overall to
pace the Fighting Camel men. Sophomore Clarence Williams was right
behind Earle, finishing 23rd with at time of 27:38.
