ELON, N.C. -- Kirsten Renz won the B-2 singles flight and two Campbell doubles teams reach flight finals Sunday at the Elon Fall Invitational women's tennis tournament.

A freshman from Greensboro, Renz dropped the first set to Aissa Mumba of North Carolina Central 2-6 before taking the second set in a tiebreaker.  She then claimed a super tie-break (10-7).

In the first round, Renz defeated Sarah Vande Berg of USC Upstate 2-6, 6-3, 6-1.  She downed Caroline Baker of Elon 6-0, 6-1 in the semifinal.

Campbell tandems reached the doubles finals in both the A-1 and A-2 flights.  Junior Karolina Chernaya and freshman Ana Ortiz defeated teams from USC Upstate and NC Central en route to Sunday's A-1 final, but fell 8-2 to Elon's Johnston and Jansaker in the title match.

Junior Natasha Afridi and sophomore Tamara Stanic downed tandems from Virginia Tech and Meredith to reach the A-2 final, but fell to Bryn Khoury and Maria Camera of Elon 8-2.

Camel freshman Caroline Lindsey won the B-2 singles consolation draw after a first-round loss.

Campbell continues its fall schedule Oct. 5-7 at the Wake Forest Invitational.
