Women's Tennis Sweeps Lipscomb 7-0

BUIES CREEK, N.C. - Campbell (11-6, 7-2 A-Sun) took all six singles matches and captured the doubles point en route to a 7-0 victory over Lipscomb Saturday at the NIsbet Tennis Center.

Lisa Sutton won her third straight match as she defeated Kara Jackson (6-2, 6-0) in the one spot. Karolina Chernaya improved to 9-0 in conference play after defeating Elizabeth Keevil (6-3, 6-2) in the two position.

Borislava Nikolova improved to 12-4 in singles play after her victory in the three spot while Heather Robinson won her second match in a row in the four position.

The Camels swept through doubles play with three victories. Sutton and Dominek Wallaart defeated Jackson and Alyssa Bellini (8-0) in the one spot while Chernaya and Nikolova beat Keevil and Danielle Hansen in the two position (8-1). The duo is 11-3 for the season.

Campbell concludes its non-conference season Tuesday, April 5 as it hosts UNC Asheville. Match time is set for 2:00 p.m.
