Women's Tennis Falls at Kennesaw State 4-3

MARIETTA, Ga. - Kennesaw State took four singles matches en route to a 4-3 victory over Campbell (8-6, 4-2 A-Sun) Friday afternoon in Marietta Ga. Karolina Chernaya and Borislava Nikolova won singles matches for the Camels.

Chernaya defeated Alexandra Apostu (6-3, 6-3) in the two position. The Pakistan native is 11-2 this season and currently riding a seven match winning streak. Nikolova defeated Iesha Holton in the three spot (6-3, 6-3).

Campbell took two out of the three doubles matches to capture the doubles point. Lisa Sutton and Dominek Wallaart picked up a victory in the one spot while Chernaya and Nikolova earned a victory in the two spot.

With the match tied 3-3, Agatha Palider clinched the match for Kennesaw State (16-4, 5-2) by defeating Heather Robinson in the four position (4-6, 6-3, 7-5).

The Camels will conclude their Georgia road trip tomorrow morning as they take on Mercer in Macon Ga. Match time is set for 10:00 a.m.
