Women's Lacrosse Adds to Roster
Campbell Women's Lacrosse head coach Phil Schuman announced an addition to his 2012-13 roster, junior Taelar Errington. Errington comes to Buies Creek after transferring from the University of Maryland Baltimore County.
"Anytime you can add someone with her level of talent and dedication, it is a plus for your program," Schuman added. "We expect Taelar to come in and be a leader for us from Day 1. We are excited to have her join the Campbell family and for her leadership both on and off the field."
Errington, from Valley Lee, Md., played for Skywalkers Lacrosse Club out of Baltimore, Md. She was a U.S. Lacrosse All-American in 2010 and an Honorable Mention All-American in 2009 at Leonardtown High School. In addition, she was a two-time Academic All-American from U.S. Lacrosse. Errington led the Raiders to five straight Southern Maryland Athletic Conference championships and two consecutive undefeated seasons At Leonardtown, she was four-time All-SMAC selection, two-time team captain, and named team MVP in 2009.
She is the daughter of Robin and Jeff Errington, and has two older brothers, Lane and Grant, and a younger sister, Cameron.
