John Crooks was named coach of the year, Kaylin Yost was named player of the year and Lisbeth Brooks was selected freshman of the year in voting by league head coaches.Yost, Michelle Koh and Brooks were also chosen to the five-player all-conference first team.

Play begins with 36 holes following Monday’s 9:00 a.m. shotgun start. Final round tee times will begin Tuesday at 9:00 a.m. Campbell will be paired with Georgia State and Maryland for the first two rounds.

Michelle Koh named Big South Conference Women’s Golfer of the Week
Michelle Koh of Campbell University has been named the Choice Hotels Big South Conference Women’s Golfer of the Week for events played Oct. 20-26. Koh earned her fourth top-15 individual finish (and third top-10) of the season when she tied for ninth at the Palmetto Intercollegiate at Oak Point Golf Club. The showing was her seventh career top-10 finish.

Women's Golf heads to Palmetto Intercollegiate this weekend
Campbell will seek to continue its strong women’s golf fall season this weekend when the Camels participate in the Palmetto Intercollegiate hosted by the College of Charleston. The 18-school field includes Campbell, which is rated 65th nationally, and six other teams included among the nation’s top 100 in the latest Golfstat.com NCAA head-to-head rankings.

Campbell tied for 9th after 36 holes at New Mexico Dick McGuire Invitational
Campbell freshmen Lisbeth Brooks and Brooke Bellomy are among the top-20 individuals and the Camels stand 9th on the team leader board Sunday after 36 holes of the 32nd Branch Law Firm / Dick McGuire Invitational. Brooks is tied for 10th place, while Bellomy is tied for 19th in the 96-player event hosted by New Mexico at the UNM Championship Course.

Golfweek.com: Program Challenge ends in unprecedented fashion
Yes, Campbell and East Carolina tied, rather improbably, for the Program Challenge crown, each school shooting a cumulative, 54-hole score of 1,716. So, rather than name co-champions, and with less than a 5-hour bus ride back to campus, each school selected a male and female to play off for the title at Caledonia Golf & Fish Club. More intriguing: It would be sudden-death alternate shot.

Koh finishes 6th individually Campbell 3rd in team standings at Golfweek Program Challenge
Michelle Koh finished sixth overall and Campbell placed third in the team standings following Tuesday’s final round of the Golfweek Program Challenge women’s tournament at Caledonia Golf & Fish Club. A senior from Kuantan, Malaysia, Koh shot 72-72-75—219 to finish at six-over-par on the par-71, 2003-yard layout and earn her sixth career top-10 individual finish.
