BUIES CREEK, N.C. – After winning five tournaments, including the Big South Conference championship, Campbell University is preparing for the NCAA Women's Golf Regional Selection show Monday at 6:00 p.m. The show will be aired live on The Golf Channel.

Campbell will receive its 17th berth in NCAA post-season action on Monday and will travel to Tallahassee, Fla., Stillwater, Okla., or Ce Elum, Wash., to compete in a 54-hole regional championship May 8-10.

As a team, the Camels rank seventh in the nation in birdies (359 through 11 events), while three of CU's players rank among the nation's top 250 in the Golfstat Cup.  Kaylin Yost is No.-69 (73.2 stroke average), Tahnia Ravnjak No.-180 (77.48) and Lisbeth Brooks No.-231 (74.77).

Yost was named Big South golfer of the year and was joined on the all-conference team by Brooks, Ali Prazak, Ravnjak and Big South Championship medalist Louise Latorre.  Latorre, Ravnjak and Yost earned spots on the Big South all-championship team by finishing 1-2-3 in the event.

Hall of Fame head coach John Crooks has guided his women to 12 conference titles and nine runner-up finishes in 23 years.  A 2006 inductee into the National Golf Coaches Association Hall of Fame, Crooks ranks fourth all-time and second among active Division I head coaches with 75 career tournament victories.

The top eight teams and top two individuals from each regional site will advance to the NCAA Championship May 20-23 at Tulsa (Okla.) Country Club.
