Campbell 11th After Two Rounds at Waterlefe / USF Invitational

BRADENTON, FLA. Campbell slipped to 11th place after the second round of the Waterlefe / USF Invitational women's golf tournament on Monday.

CU shot a first-round 310 and stood in fifth place after the first 18 holes, but fell to a 321 in Monday's second round for a 36-hole total of 631, 24 strokes off the pace of leader Miami.

Campbell's Sofia Gorelik, who was tied for third after a first round 73, shot 79 and was tied for 13th following Monday's play. CU senior Josefina Usandizaga was tied for 18th at 154 (76-78).

East Carolina's Adrienne Millican led the event at two-over-par 146 with back-to-back 73s on Monday. Miami led the team standings at 607 strokes, one ahead of Mississippi (608) and seven in front of East Carolina (614) in the 15-school field.

The third round is scheduled for Tuesday.
