BUIES CREEK, N.C.-After winning five of its last six, Campbell travels to Gardner-Webb for the 2011-12 regular season finale on Monday. Tipoff is slated for 7 p.m. at Paul Porter Arena.
The Lady Camels are 17-11 on the season after a 74-55 win on the road at UNC Asheville on Friday, also improving to 10-7 in Big South play. Campbell's 17 wins are the most since the 2000-01 season when the Lady Camels posted 22 victories.
Tonisha Baker registered a career-high 31 points at Asheville, the most by a Lady Camel since April Cromartie against Samford in 2002 (2/21/02).
The junior guard from High Point, N.C., tallied her career night on 13-of-19 shooting, making her only attempt from beyond the arc. Baker also added four points from the free throw line in the win. Baker's 31 points mark the 43rd time in school history a player has registered 30 or more, while becoming the 10th Lady Camel to ever post multiple 30 point games. Baker's previous career-best of 30 came in last season's 98-70 win over USC Upstate on Feb. 26, 2011.
Baker, coming into the game with 990 career points, also surpassed 1,000 career points in the win, becoming the 16th player in Lady Camel history to surpass the milestone. Baker needs just 20 rebounds to reach 500 for her career.

Senior guard Kate Cloxton dished out eight assists in the win. Cloxton has tallied 11 career games with eight or more assists, with Campbell going 9-2 in those outings.
The Lady Camels posted a 20-3 run to end the first half and added another 17-1 spurt midway through the second in the win.

In the season's early meeting to kick off Big South play, the Lady Camels took a 62-52 home win behind Tonisha Baker's 18 points. Campbell led by as many as 19 in the game. Before that December meeting, the last time the schools met was 2008 when the Bulldogs were also an Atlantic Sun Conference member.
