Men’s Tennis Edges East Carolina 4-3
Greenville, N.C. – The Camels captured victories in the top four singles position to claim a 4-3 victory over East Carolina Friday afternoon. Adrien Rossignon and Fernando Guillen both improved to 8-3 in singles play for the Camels (5-6, 1-2),
Rossignon defeated Joran Vliegen (6-2, 6-4) in the one spot, while Guillen won his fourth straight singles match by knocking off Niels Cleeren in the two spot (6-3, 6-2).
Senior David Clavera snapped a three match losing streak by defeating Nicolas Soriano (7-6, 7-5) in the three position. Josep Baro improved to 6-5 after knocking off John Schmitt in the four spot (6-3, 6-3).
The Pirates captured the doubles point, but Baro and Rossignon picked up a victory in the one spot. The duo is 4-5 this season.
Campbell returns to the courts tomorrow, March 17, to take on George Washington. Match time is set for 1:00 pm at the Nisbet Tennis Center.
