In starting 11 and played 100 of a possible 110 minutes in collegiate debut, a season-opening draw with Loyola (9/1)... Also played full 110 minutes in draws at UNC Greensboro (9/22) and Furman (10/5)... His 1318 minutes on the year were 2nd-most of all CU freshmen...

Prep/Personal:   Jared Girard was an all-state performer as a senior after leading Green Hope to 2009 state 4-A runner-up finish... Also named Tri-9 Conference player of the year as a senior when he scored 14 goals an assisted on 7 others... Helped lead Green Hope to state semifinal round in both '07 and '08... Captained CASL Chelsea USSF U-18 Academy team, where he was coached by former CU standout Rusty Scarborough... Member of top-ranked club team in the country...
