2010: First-team Atlantic Sun All-Conference choice... Also named Team MVP and to pre-season all-league squad... Ranked 2nd among A-Sun leaders in assists (8) and assists per game (0.44)... In conference games only, he led the A-Sun in assists per game (0.62) and tied for the league lead with 5 assists in 8 outings... Registered 9 of his 14 points vs. A-Sun competition... Stood 3rd in points per game in A-Sun play (1.12)... had career-high 3 assists in 7-0 win over Belmont (10/28)... Scored twice and assisted on another CU goal in 4-3 loss at Jacksonville (10/21)... Ranked seventh among A-Sun leaders in points (16) on 5 goals and 6 assists... Tied for 9th in goals scored and 3rd in assists... Led all A-Sun freshmen in assists and 2nd in points... Ranked 2nd on team in points and assists, tied for 1st in goals... One of just 3 Camels to see action in all 19 games... Made 17 starts, including collegiate debut at UNC Wilmington (9/1), when he scored his first career goal... First career assists set up only goal in 1-0 victory at Georgia Southern (9/8)... Set up first goal and scored winner at Belmont (10/3)... His 84th minute strike was the lone goal in 1-0 win at Mercer (10/17)... Assisted on game-winner at Stetson (10/22) and vs. Jacksonville (10/31)... 

Prep/Personal: Mitchell Alejandro Cardenas Gutierrez was a three-time all-district selection at College Park High School... As a senior, he scored 20 goals and set up 11 others while earning district and county MVP honors... Also was named to the all-district and all-country first team and second-team All-Greater Houston... Four-year high school career totals include 52 goals and 40 assists... Played club soccer for the Texas Rush AHFC AS Monaco U-18 Academy... Son of Alejandro Cardenas, who played professionally for 17 years, including a stint with Pumas of Mexico... Born Jan. 8, 1991 in Mexico City, Mexico... Exercise and sport science major...
