Campbell 5th after 36 holes of Big South Championship

NINETY-SIX, S.C. – Amanjyot Singh is tied for ninth individually and Campbell stands fifth on the team leader board after 36 holes Monday of the Big South Conference men's golf championship.

A junior from Rajasthan, India, Singh shot a two-over 74 Monday on the par-72, 7120-yard Patriot Golf Club layout.  He sits six-over par (76-74—150) entering Tuesday's final round.  Live scoring is available on-line at

Campbell freshman Alvaro Veiga (73-78—151) is tied for 13th place.  Freshman Mikko Lehtovuori (76-81—157) and sophomore Grant Houser (79-78—157) are tied for 33rd.   Freshman Jeremy Milton (88-79—167) is tied for 47th.

As a team, Campbell (304-309—613) is three strokes behind Radford (304-306—610) and two ahead of Gardner-Webb (309-306—615) in the 10-school field.

Coastal Carolina was one-over on the day (296-289--585) and moved into the team lead by three strokes over Liberty (294-294--588).  Winthrop (299-294--593) is third.

Winthrop's Cameron Bell (72-71--143) holds a one-stroke lead over Liberty's Max McKay (70-74--144) and Sebastian Soderberg of Coastal Carolina (71-73--144) heading into the final round.
