Will Phillippi heads into his first season as a coach at Campbell.

Phillippi comes aboard to work as a defensive assistant and will work with the outside linebackers after finishing his college career at Campbell.

He was a member of the CU football team from 2007-2010 and earned a letter in his last two seasons.  Phillippi was awarded the FCA Award by the Campbell Athletic Department in the spring of 2011.  He graduated in the spring of 2011 with a degree in Exercise Sports Science.  Phillippi was also President of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes his senior year.

In summer 2010, Phillippi was a volunteer coach at Clemson University's football camps.  In the summer of 2011, he returned to Clemson as a paid coach for the Dabo Swinney camps.  Phillippi also was a paid coach at the camps at the University of Tennessee and the Naval Academy in the summer of 2011.

The Charlotte native is enrolled at graduate school at Campbell and resides in Fuquay-Varina.
