BUIES CREEK – The Campbell baseball program invites all former players to attend Alumni Night on April 17 at Taylor Field, when the Fighting Camels host nationally-ranked N.C. State for a 6 p.m. matchup.
Former players planning on attending need to call Josh Owens, graduate assistant for the Fighting Camel Club at (910) 814-5715 to RSVP. The baseball team has had the best start in program history this season, opening the year 23-3 and posting an 18-game winning streak during the month of March that establishes a new team record for consecutive wins. The streak was also the third-longest mark in Big South Conference history. The Fighting Camels are currently 28-7 overall, 6-3 in the Big South Conference. The team is six wins away from establishing a new program records for wins in a season.
