Joe Prisco begins his fourth year as assistant director of athletics media services for Campbell University.

Prisco joined Campbell after spending time at the University of Northern Colorado as an assistant media relations director. Prior to that, he spent a year at the University Of Notre Dame as a sports information assistant and two years at Coastal Carolina University as a media relations assistant.

Also in his background is a year at Saint Xavier University as a volunteer assistant and a summer working for the Thomasville Hi-Toms Baseball Team as an assistant general manager.

A native of Evergreen Park, Ill., Prisco completed both his B.S. in speech communication and M.S. in sports administration from EasternIllinois University in Charleston, Ill. While attending EIU, he spent four years working in the sports information office while also working for the campus radio station.

He serves as the primary media contact for football, swimming and diving and softball as well as overseeing the department's web site (www.GoCamels.com). He also assists with the other 17 sports in various capacities.

He resides in Lillington.
