FT. MYERS, FLA.-Coming off a sturdy showing at Stetson where Campbell tallied a 19-for-20 clip from the free throw line to grab a 70-61 win, the Lady Camels will travel to Florida Gulf Coast on Saturday, taking on the Eagles at 7:30 p.m. inside Alico Arena.

Campbell is 13-9 with an 8-5 Atlantic Sun record this season, and with seven regular season games remaining, have already matched a high since the 2001-02 season, where CU went 13-15 overall. That was also the last time a Lady Camel team finished the season with a winning conference record, finishing 11-9.

Junior guard Courtney Cannon led the way for the Lady Camels, ending the night with 16 points and six rebounds. Senior center Ashley Williamson collected her third-consecutive double-double with 13 points and 11 rebounds. Now with 483 career boards, needs 17 to become the 17^th Lady Camel in program history to reach 500.

Monique Spry and Kate Cloxton added nine points each, nailing three baskets from distance apiece. Cloxton also chipped in three assists and a pair of steals while Amanda O'Neill collected five steals.

The win was also head coach Wanda Watkins' 446 of her 29 year career, all coming at the helm of the Lady Camel program. Watkins also has 145 Atlantic Sun wins, the most all-time in league history.

The Eagles are coming off a decisive 92-55 win over East Tennessee State at home on Thursday, pushing their record to 18-4 overall and 13-1 in conference play. Five Eagles reached double-figures in scoring, led by senior forward Adrianne McNally's 21 points on 9-of-13 shooting. McNally also added six boards and six assists.

Senior guard Brittany Brown shot 5-of-7 from the field for 17 points, and sophomore guard Kelsey Jacobson scored 14 points. Senior forward Chelsea Lyles added 13 points and sophomore guard Courtney Chihil chipped in with 11 points and seven rebounds in the win.

In the pair's first meeting, the Lady Camels sliced a 14-point FGCU lead down to three over the game's final four minutes, but fell 64-59 inside the John W. Pope, Jr. Convocation Center in Buies Creek.

The run began with five straight points from Lauren Yesh, a lay-in and a three, and followed by three consecutive drives and baskets from Tonisha Baker. The Eagles missed the front end of three one-and-one chances over that span, and missed the first of two shots from the line with 15 seconds remaining, but still held on for the five-point win.

Cannon also led the way in that contest, posting a season-high 19 points and adding five rebounds. McNally led the Eagles with 22 points.

The Lady Camels will be back in action on Thursday at home, taking on Kennesaw State in a 7 p.m. matchup.
