JOHNSON CITY, TENN.-Siarre Evans tallied 20 points and East Tennessee State led wire to wire to defeat Campbell 88-65 in Atlantic Sun women's basketball action Wednesday night inside the MSHA Athletic Center.

Campbell falls to 11-8 with the loss and 6-4 in A-Sun play, ending a three-game winning streak, while ETSU improves to 11-7 overall and 9-1 in conference games.

Freshman guard Tonisha Baker led the way for the Lady Camels, posting 16 points on 7-of-11 shooting, adding three assists, two steals and a pair of rebounds. Junior forward Lauren Yesh followed with 11 points, adding three boards.

Senior forward Geami Britt notched nine in the loss, while Ashley Williamson, Kate Cloxton and Jazmine Cooper gathered five points each. Junior guard Courtney Cannon added four points on the night.

Evans' 20 points came on 6-of-12 shooting, including a 3-of-6 rate from behind the arc. The Griffin, Ga. native added six steals with four rebounds. Senior guard TaRonda Wiles also posted 14, while Gwen Washington and Tarita Gordon recorded 12 points apiece. Washington led the Buccaneers with a game-high 10 rebounds.

ETSU built an early 11-point lead by the 12:03 mark, as a TaRonda Wiles three gave the Bucs a 23-12 lead. After a Jazmine Copper lay-in brought the game back to single digits, Wiles notched another deuce for ETSU, for two of her 14 in the first half. ETSU took a 47-33 lead into the break, converting 17 Lady Camel turnovers into 26 points.

Out of the half, four different Buccaneers tallied baskets as ETSU reeled off a 10-2 run over the first 3:25 of the frame. The ETSU lead continued to grow, reaching 26, at 73-47, at the 8:28 mark on a Natalie Pickwell three. ETSU went on to collect the 88-65 win.

The Lady Camels will be back in action on Saturday at home, taking on Belmont inside the John W. Pope, Jr. Convocation Center.
