BUIES CREEK, N.C.-Ashley Weers drilled 14 kills without an error to lead Campbell past North Florida on Senior Day in Atlantic Sun volleyball action Saturday afternoon inside the John W. Pope, Jr. Convocation Center.

The Camels improve to 17-12 overall on the season, matching the 2000 and 2001 teams for the third most wins in program history. Only the 1997 and 1998 squads have posted more, with 34 and 25 wins, respectively. Campbell also improves to 10-8 in A-Sun play. UNF falls to 10-18 overall and 4-14 in conference play.

Weers' 14 scores came on 22 attempts without an error for a stellar .636 rate, adding three blocks and two aces. Junior outside hitter Emily Werner was also in double figures with 10 kills, adding seven digs and a career-high seven blocks. Werner also chipped in two aces in the win.

Junior outside hitter Allyson Goldbach posted seven kills for the Camels with 11 digs, while junior setter Paige Tortorello tallied 29 assists and eight digs and two blocks. Sophomore defensive specialist Lauren Garza also chipped in a career and game-high 22 digs. Caitlin Bendy, a junior middle, also recorded a career-high in the win, posting 11 blocks, including eight assisted and three solo.

Freshman outside hitter Paige Pridgeon posted a game-high 21 kills to lead the Ospreys, adding 11 digs in the loss. Junior middle Kaley Read also collected 13 kills with four digs, while junior outside hitter Nallelis Sanfeliz registered seven kills and 12 digs.

Freshman defensive specialist Nicole Baran led the Ospreys with 21 digs, while junior setter Jessica Catelano notched 39 assists in the loss.

The Camels will close out the regular season next weekend in Nashville, Tenn. facing Belmont and Lipscomb on Friday and Saturday.
