2008-09: Place second on the team in the 400-breast (5:31.71), 100-fly (1:00.430 and 100 IM (1:03.80)...ranked third on squad in the 200 IM (2:15.50) at CCSA Championships...also ranked fourth on team in the 50-breast (33.40), 100-breast (1:10.43), 200-breast (2:42.28), 400 IM (4:57.35)...was named the CCSA's Swimmer of the Week (2/17)...finished in the top-three in seven individual events last season including second in the 100 butterfly against UNCW (2/14), which was the school record at that point

2007-08:  Had the team's third-best individual event time in the 100-fly (1:00.89)...also ranked seventh on the team in 200-free (2:07.20) and 10^th in the 100-free (1:00.35)...competed in the relay events of 200-free, 400-free, 300-fly and the 200-medley...competed and set personal bests in the 200-free (2:07.20), 100-fly (1:01.02) and 200-fly (2:21.07) at the Coastal Collegiate Swimming Association (CCSA).

Prep/Personal: Was a four-time letterwinner at Hunt High School... earned three consecutive team MVP titles dating from 2005-2007... Earned conference MVP in both 2006 and 2007... holds school records in 200 individual medley, 200 freestyle, 100-back, 100-breast, 100-fly, and 100-free...full name is Casey Leigh Umberger...daughter of Tom and Pam Umberger...born 4/20/89, in Wilson, North Carolina...majoring in athletic training
